One of the first things you will need to decide when you create a new website, is what layout to use to maximise your site’s effect on readers. You want to be able to draw visitors to view your products or services, whilst giving a flavour of your company or brand at the same time. This is quite challenging, and it certainly pays to get the layout right first time!
Grid layouts are ideal for people who have lots of products or services to show off, allowing you to show lots of things within one space. Modern and creative websites suit the grid style, as it offers a clean and minimal layout which appeals to younger people. It is a very visual layout.
Menu position: you can choose to have your menu places along the top, down the side or on the bottom of the site. Bear in mind that the menu is important from a logistical point of view, as it is where your clients will look for items and other pages from.
